[personal profile] aranthe posting in [community profile] intro_to_cs

Note:Apparently, MIT re-arranged the furniture a few weeks ago. If you've tried to follow the links in the online calendar that I created for this session or links in posts prior to the previous one, they will redirect you to the main page for this course.

Also, if you're still following the course, could you post a quick reply to this post and let me know whether you're up-to-date or whether we need to pause for a catch-up?

I have given up fooling myself that I'm actively going through this course. I just am not. But I'm really grateful you are making these posts, because they should still be there if and when I do get my act together enough to start again.

Definitely a good initial ounitg, and the standards support is great. Nonetheless, I was hoping for less vanilla and more sauce. In particular, I would have liked to see label support along the same lines as GMail coupled with filters for external visibility and the ability to share labels between GMail and the calendar with unified search.
