Readings and PS4
As per my last post, I have not read these nor done the problem set. Any more volunteers to take over or possibly tag team with
aranthe? Doing these posts doesn't require comprehension of the material (as some of my discussion questions have indicated, I'm sure), it just requires that you do the readings and watch the lectures on schedule.
Readings:
Analysis of Algorithms
Wikipedia Binary Search Algorithm with the focus on the Implementations section.
Asymptomatic Notation (PDF)
Problem Set 4 (PDF)

Since no one else has come forward, I have a question: Is the current schedule set in stone? That is, would it be okay if I loosened it a bit? (I didn't join until after it was established, so I'm not sure how much it matters to everyone to stick to the current timetable.)
If it's not a problem, I'd like to take an extra week to get a little ahead. (I have 32 students in my new teaching session, which means grading somewhere between 100 and 150 scripts/week, not to mention all the questions I have to field. It takes a while. ;-) Would that be okay with you? If so, I'll survey the group to see if it's okay with everyone else.

Thank you so much for being willing to take this on! I'm glad to know it won't die for lack of someone to lead. :)
